Tom Sutterfield 

Tom is the C.E.O. and Principal Consultant for rSynergy, Inc. which he founded in 2003 specializing in the operation, relocation and construction of mission critical centers such as data centers, emergency operation centers and 911 centers across the country.  Tom is a husband and father with a 30+ year career managing organizations and technologies.  Tom was a key contributor in two profitable dot com startups including Database Technologies, Inc. (DBT) and KnowX.com, which were both eventually acquired by LexisNexis.  Tom also serves as the Bureau Chief of Information Technologies at the South Florida Water Management District where his responsibilities include overseeing the technical operations of one of the largest water management SCADA environment in the world. 

Tom has a Master of Science in Technology from The Georgia Institute of Technology and several undergraduate degrees including a degree in music education.  For the past 20 years Tom has been an education advocate in Florida where he has served on the board of several schools and other education-based organizations.  Tom is currently the Council Commisioner for the Gulf Stream Council Boy Scouts of America, Board Chair for BridgePrep Academy Inc., which operates nineteen schools across nine Florida Counties, Vice Chair of the Learning Excellence Foundation of South Palm Beach County Inc., which operates Imagine Chancellor in Boynton Beach, and Secretary and Treasurer of Glades Academy in Pahokee.  As part of this effort, Tom has traveled to Washington D.C. and Tallahassee on several occasions as a volunteer advocate for children.
